The Sacred Arts Quest

In exercise internationally since 1995, having actively collaborated with several social projects around the globe, Mundaka Arte & Cultura promotes the interaction and exchange between worldwide cultural and artistic manifestations, as a way to preserve the essence and the singularity of distinctive mankind traditions. We live in a world where cultural and artistic tendencies have been rapidly moving towards internationalization, at the cost of the cultural differences that have constituted the richness of mankind’s history. Mundaka Arte & Cultura suggests a perspective that brings forth possible communication among different languages respecting traditions at the same time, by adopting a receptive and unending attitude towards learning from such differences. Our ground base research moves across from Brazil, to Spain and India, multicultural giants in constant transformation, where folkloric and artistic manifestations from all over the world find resonance without struggle. The Arts have a determining social role in joining communities. Therefore, we start from the primordial human desire of communication, alert to the active voice of peoples beyond borders, telling daily chronicles and preserving the earth´s myths through music, poetry and dance, beyond that which words can describe.
